Advocacy & Policy
Championing the Voice of Critical Care Nurses
At the Critical Care Nurses Association of Zambia (CCNAZ), we play a vital role in shaping healthcare policies that impact critical care and emergency nursing nationwide.
Through advocacy, collaboration, and research, we ensure that the voices of nurses are heard and valued in decision-making processes that affect patient outcomes and professional practice.
Policy Development
CCNAZ actively collaborates with government agencies, health institutions, and professional councils to develop and review policies that uphold the highest standards in nursing practice. We contribute to: Establishing national guidelines for critical and emergency care. Promoting ethical and professional excellence in nursing. Influencing frameworks that strengthen healthcare delivery systems. Our goal is to build sustainable standards that improve patient care and elevate the nursing profession.

We stand as the collective voice of critical care and emergency nurses across Zambia. Our advocacy efforts focus on: Securing adequate resources and equipment for critical care units. Promoting fair working conditions and equitable recognition for nurses. Raising public and institutional awareness about the vital role of nurses in saving lives. Together, we advocate for a stronger, safer, and more supportive healthcare environment.
